You've seen a render. Doesnt take much of imagination to think it into a map.

I really like this news update, seems like Normandy might not be further away then 2.0 was 2.1?

The day we see American player models ingame will mark the coming of Normandy though. I have a feeling the Americans are going to get raped on that map. I have a feeling that the statics and props for Normandy are done, as they usually don't start mapping before they are. Which means all their modelers will start focusing on equipment for lots of juicy updates to come. I still don't see the tiger in the one screenshot though, only Panthers and stugs.

Sweet update. Looks marevelous. Only those haybails look too boxy (perfectly square with straight edges...). Otherwise, nice.

Ramelle Neuville.

I thought the same thing!

We haven't seen ANY official Normandy map updates yet, so that's where I'm hedging my bet.

Hello all new here, but not to the mod As usual the updates are looking good and make me want to jump into another map in the desert, but I have a question to do with the Normandy update. I know this may have already been asked and that I should check things out, but will the Normandy theatre always have Americans as the allied army like North Africa had the British for all of theirs? Or will some maps feature British/Canadians/Polish or free french for other parts of the campaign in France?

EDIT: Thx for the quick reply Lobo. British and Americans Cool

We currently know of two Normandy maps, Caen and this one. On Caen the British are going to be fighting, and on this one the Americans. There's a chance we'll get Americans in North Africa with the Normandy patch, but we have no official word so its speculation. We have no word that the Canadians, Polish or Free French will be in the Normandy patch, but we can hope. And if not they might be coming later, but don't count on it.

Amazing map! And astonishing detail on that church, especially the interiors!

Some questions.. is that fog intentional weather effect or is it to improve performance?

And also, not very important but I'm curious about why is the German on the map display still the old design with black, white, red stripes?
