By the way whats the difference between Early and Late Tigers? Are the early models less armored or is its gun different 88 model?

the most obvious differences would the the exhaustion and the commander cupola (which in later models is more narrow)
also the wheels got differnt in later version
zimmerit was eventualy added, more hatches, engine, AA-MG34 etc ...

i cant find any good pictures of these rigth now but i found a page featuring them:
TIGERPANZER.de the page is in german but if you follow these order you will get to the images:
1. click the link above
2. click on Tiger I (upper left)
3. click on "Ausführungen" (link at buttom left)

on the right side you then get a rough overview over these changes
the text above states that there were roughly 3 versions:
"frühe" (early)
"mittlere" (middle)
"spät" (late)

the top left picture show the early version of the cupola the picture underneath the smaller middle-later version.

so i guess we can expect a new tiger version when we reach Normandy
