We've seen the Tiger in the hands of noobs, and newbs and we've seen the end result which is nothing short of a sacrificial lamb charging forward to be cut down with a quickness. However, properly maintained and deployed with a competent commander, the Tiger can last an entire map without being destroyed. Then it will be the hordes of Allied Shermans and Crusader III's that fall to the Tiger. While tanks like the Tiger or a coordinated force of Shermans can influence a map, it is the infantry man who wins them.

Another question: Didn't the 3,7cm Pak or the Semovente have Pzg 40-/HE-shells? And what about the Crusader 1? Did he have just AP 40mm-shells? |

| I think that the sound problems with tanks and HE shells happen to everybody, but I don't use tanks enough to know for sure. |

| British tanks were known for not having HE shells. The semovente is an italian tank, so I donīt think the crews were issued german special ammo. |

| the "silent tank death" problem has been addressed there are some new sounds for hits, ricochets, destroy. but there was (i dont knwo if still is) a problem with some sounds that would only be played in single player and not multi, dont know if this is that or something else. i will look into it if ther have been any changes on that topic. i read somewhere that there were 2pdr HE shell but they were never issued cause they were not seen as very effective with only very small amount of explosives used inside them, giving the Germans in fight like pak36 vs 2pdr a huge advantage. also i read that the semovente (and i think the carro armato) had some special HEAT ammo called EP ( effecto pronto) whcih rendered quiet effective against british tanks like grants and even shermans. however there were various different numbers of semovente and the one ingame is a very early version so i dont know if they were issued this kind of ammo. i have no idea about semovente and HE ammo. if i rember it when i get home (i m at work rigth know ) i ll write a suggestion in the interal forum to add more ammo types for different vehicles like pak36 (although this pak is used only very little), semovente etc.

| How good was 88 HEAT ammo? Was it better than PzGr.40 in terms of penetration? |
