| The Breda M30's total lack of awesome is what makes it so awesome in the first place! I used to love running around in Road to Rome (where it was mirrored, the mag, not even a clip as it should be, being inserted on the left side; like the M1 Garand in BF1942, actually) looking for those guns to pick up. Whenever I was an Allied soldier, upon picking up the Breda M30, I'd immediately type "FEATHER!" It was my war cry. (It refers to the plumes on the Italian helmet.) I can't wait to use the Carcano 1891 and the 1891/38 short rifle Carcano, but even more so I can't wait to see their animations. The Carcano rifles used a Mannlicher type magazine, so the clips had to be inserted whole and ejected from the bottom of the rifle upon firing the last cartridge. This is my favorite update in a long time! I can't wait to join the battle as a Soldato. |

Guess I should tell killi... Also, apparently carcanos were the most common rifle issued to the Volksturm. We'll have to remember that for old-man berlin fights. |

BTW McGibs and any other devs who need to know, here's a video I found of a guy firing a Carcano and it shows the clip coming out the bottom at 0:38

Concerning the Carcano M1938... I think the M91/38 designation is only used for the Carcano short rifles (the Italians didn't classify this as a carbine/moschetto like they did the Carcano 1891 cavalry carbine, but rather as a short rifle meant to replace the M1891) that were converted to or produced as 6.5 mm. The shortage of 7.35 mm ammunition was such that the original 7.35 mm M1938 Carcano rifles were usually converted to (and henceforth produced as) 6.5 mm beginning sometime in 1940 I think. So if this Carcano short rifle is the 6.5 mm type, then the M91/38 designation is correct. If, however, it is the original 7.35 mm type, then it should simply be designated as an M1938 Carcano fucile corto. |

| No, not the Breda M30 LMG. The machine gun the Italians used in FH1 on Tobruk was the M37 Breda, a superior successor to the M30. |

| Correct. It was also used in the deployable mg role in FH1. The LMGs on that map were Mg34s.
