Hrm....

I once, long ago, mentioned the idea of an Oasis map, with a battle between armoured car detachments...with nothing but rolling dunes and a central oasis....

Its probably a new map, player models would be nice, but my fantasies of seeing those far out weigh the probability of it actually happening.

and also why arnt we askign about the map the cromwell is on becasue i got a feeling that could be a normandy map no one asked my good friend lightnign about that have we

It's the same map as all the other Normandy ingame pictures are from. :p

Be sure to check out the maps section guys, it shows the Giarabub loading screen and minimap!

Or it could be that the devs' tactical vision of the map has changed after it was created.

Whenever I click on one of the pictures for that new desert map I get the following message: "Not Found The requested URL /screenshotsfh2/Giarabub/giarabub_07.jpg was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Strange though, that only happens with the map picture links. I can load the stug and cromwell pics fine.

Edit: Nevermind. They load now after refreshing the page.

On the fourth Cromwell picture there are trees on the background, 3, and they are white. And there is a yellow spot on the rooftop on the same picture.

And with the map link Lightning posted, do I see Italian flags? Does that mean... No.. Not the Italians in the next patch!

You mean the little yellow flag on one of the Cromwell antennas?
