It all looks so sweet, as usual. Had a moment of concern when I read the Cromwell was ported from 0.7, but those fears were put to rest when I saw the very nice looking Cromwell pictures.
Just my two cents on one thing:

...on March 21st 1941, after a 45 minute artillery bombardment, they attacked Giarabub...
If there is going to be artillery for the allies to conduct this bombardment, I recommend focusing on mortars, not artillery.
In the game, as in real life, the artillery comes in on a lower trajectory, making it difficult for the shells to actually reach the ground. However, unlike real life, the buildings in the game do not crumble. This vastly reduces the damage they cause in the game.
Mortars, on the other hand fall straight down and are very effective at shelling towns.

The panzer 3 and kubelwagon among other models are both used in FH2 and FH 0.7. However, BF1942 doesn't have normal map support, which makes them look a lot better in BF2. I'm not 100%, but the texture resolutions might be higher in BF2 aswell.
Finally some real urban my (I hope - Lightning don't you dare say a thing!). And about the map the sweet Cromwll was on - it's Caen as I remember, same map where Panther and Normandy were presented.
