yah, haha just an improvization =D |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Wow - this might be my favourite update since December 14th 2007 - one of my all-time favourite armoured vehicles, a great show of one of my favourite British tanks, and a map that implies a 100% focus on the Italians - bring out the Carcanos, we know you have them :P Seriously, is any work being done to 'complete' the Italian Army in Africa for this map and Bardia and others ATM? I know most focus is understandably on Normandy, but as you may have noticed, it's somewhat of a hobby of mine to ask. Anyway - brilliant work as ever, loving the attention to detail (the flag on the Cromwell, the close use of photos for the Fortress... beautiful) - it's what sets this mod apart from the others. |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Just one little question, are Italian voice-commands in vBF2? Since German commands where.. And if their not. I loved the ones from 1942 <hint> |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 They're aren't - only German and French IIRC. And the Italian Road to Rome ones were made for BF1942's set of commands, which is actually quite different to BF2's set. |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Completing the Italian Army really would be worth it, I think. As it is, there are only a few hand weapons that need to be added to make them such. They are featured on many FH2 maps so far, and it would be kind of silly not to make them a complete army. I understand it takes time and all that, but seeing as you have put as much time into it as you have, why not complete it? After all, you could boast that you have 3 complete nations in game for your next patch... it's a great selling point! |

We need some Italian fanboys with a good mic. |

Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Well, what about "Extracting" the BF1942 italians voices? I mean, BF1942 have, Yes, No, Attack, Defend, Follow Me, Get In, Get Out and more. Exept for the Supplies and move / repair / mine and those.. |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Appropriation is your friend 8) hehe. I can't wait for (if you guys actually make your own german/british voices), the secondary right clicks on the comm rose. So many times have I wanted to shout take cover/grenade >_< |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Whoa the Normandy maps are looking better and better with those new updates, I really love that new late Stug and about time it showed up. I hope the King Tiger comes next, good work guys! |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Great update! Nice Sturmgeschutz, new wallpaper :D Now please show us the Tiger (and for a bonus the legendary Kingtiger!) |

The main problem is that the Battlefield series isn't exactly popular in Italy (I know... like... 4 italian FH players, including me) so it might be difficult to convince an existing fandubbing team to devote time to a mod they probably never heard about for a game few people play. |

Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 I have a feeling that the yellow flag on the Cromwell can be a problem for the driver..."look! here I am! just shoot through the bushes!!":p |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Great update! Please, Carcanos next update? |

Now, if you fan dub a very popular serial or anime that will get hundreds of (illegal) downloads from Italian people you might get some fame as the cool-fandub-crew, at least in some circles. If on the other hand you fan dub a mod which has maybe a dozen of Italian players, you can forget about any hopes for fame. I know that FH has a large player base for a BF2 mod, but the point is that no non-Italian player will ever have heard of So-and-so-cool-fandub-crew and won't have any interest whatsoever in your other releases. The other problem is that the only dubbing group I have some contacts with isn't exactly the best choice for FH2 IMO. |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Well wouldn't be satisfied with international fame from an internacional group like FH? |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 So, any chances of an update today? |

Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 Lightning, no more regular updates. It just isn't normal! |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 i like them |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 I saw some screens of Giarabub map. So weird to see a German flag hanged on a wall out of an Italian fort building. There were no Germans at all in Giarabub. Just a sidenote, but I wanted to tell you. (put an Italian flag instead....) |
Re: Forgotten Hope News Update: 11th June 2008 It's already been replaced with a proper tricolore ;) |
