Awesome update! I'm liking this policy of taking shitloads of screenshots for one update. Let's hope it becomes a trend... *hides from Lightning*

One thing I must say is that the trees in Normandy look STUNNING! Wow they look good.

I love these frequent updates. Nice map too. Thanks Lobo for sharing your source photos. It's amazing what fidelity you guys manage to achieve - and thanks for choosing a lesser known (but still interesting) battle for a change.

Same type as used on that Stug.:D

Only prob with the model that I see is that it shouldn't have the butt stock on it, but donno if they can fix that now.

I think the MG34 was used with or without the stock, it wouldn't have made any difference really.

As much as i love the StuG.IIIG shown in the update, the coaxial MG wasn't introduced until September '44 so it's not really appropriate for Normandy. Hopefuly the devs have a mid production StuG.IIIG (with original mantlet, MG shield and schurzen) or late-mid version ('saukopf' mantlet, MG shield and schurzen) in the works. Maybe even a mid version on a Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.M hull? THE PANZERS AND THE BATTLE OF NORMANDY JUNE 5TH - JULY 20TH, 1944 (2) (scroll down to 'The 301st remote controlled panzer battalion')

Yes, this is true. I'd think that they will have the type with the original mantlet and gun shield, as there is no other real difference between that and the late model.

Yes! A StuG!

*dusts off the StuG operating instructions*

1.) Hide in large bush
2.) Wait for Sherman-jockey to trundle past
3.) Slam some German steel into that General Motors engine, Sherman jockey doesn't know what hit him

man this stug is going to rock
remote controlled MG + coaxial MG
schürzen to protect flanks vs bazookas
and never their will be any gunner or mg-gunner visible on the outside

i just loved the camouflaged stug in fh1 maybe we will get a similar version later ?

and the cromwell
beside the firefly this is obviously the best british anti tank tank ingame so far
typical British setup, very fast, very slim, very weak armored and a good gun.

As long as they will get HE ammo i would pick them over a sherman every time

Yes, the quality is great. Lobo made an awesome map there, thats going to be some tough close quarters combat in the fortress :)
And Mr.Cheese his Operation Charnwood is also going to be great. Just look at the road with all the bushes, what a details! It's just great to see this stuff.
(and hurray for StuG!)
