where the revive camera goes... i must say again, again that the "you are killed" camera gives you too much vision of what's going on, say, you see a tank, and choose AT kit, you see bunch of soldiers, you pick MG kit, or throw a grenade at them after you spawned. how about getting the revive camera back for infantry?(bring back the revive time thing(of vanilla BF2) while of course no revives) |
Re: where the revive camera goes... I am for and even against this idea=p. |
Re: where the revive camera goes... I'd suppose black screen after death. |

But seriously the devs dindn't make all those candy graphic just so we couldn't see'em for a big part of round (at least in my case - the rambo who lasts 10 seconds). |
Re: where the revive camera goes... I like the incapacitated cam on some servers. I don't why it's been replaced with the "you were killed" camera on the ragdoll that was once a living - virtual ofcourse - soldier. |
Re: where the revive camera goes... It's not a replacement. There are two states: incapacitation and death. As far as I can see, the camera acts exactly as in vanilla BF2. You can check it out for yourself. |
Re: where the revive camera goes... We had a black screen on death in early internal versions. We removed it because it's trivial to turn off on the client; people would likely find this and overstate the importance of being able to see a bit of the sky as an unfair advantage. |
Re: where the revive camera goes... If they could make the camera automatically follow other players after death. If not, it'd be better the way it is. I don't want to wait 15 seconds looking up in the sky, then I'd rather have the enemy know where I'm heading sometimes. |
Re: where the revive camera goes... I like having the screen play out the way it does. If it didn't I would never know what the maps I play look like... :) |
Re: where the revive camera goes... I'm against black screen, it's a bit boring to watch a black screen 20 seconds :p |
