Thanks for the info, guys! I have always wondered what the plates meant in the back of my head, but never bothered to ask.

I figured the 'WH' had something to do with the Wehrmacht.

But I really got some questions. Like all other tanks build by germany in 1943 the puma got smoke dispensers mounted on the turret. Those are similar to the ones mounted on the turret of the Matilda II. Cp.:



So, currently the smoke dispenser on the Matilda II doesnt work in favour of the smoke grenades that can be fired by the maingun.

Accordingly I'd like to ask: Are you going to implement a full functionally smoke dispenser on the Puma? With the dispenser being fixed to the turret, it would be possible to lay a semicircular smoke screen in front of the vehicle, even giving the possiblity to influence the direction the shells are being fired by turning the turret itself. Thus you could even create gaps in the smokescreen, for you to aim at an enemy such as infantry, while the smoke could provide cover towards other directions.

Evenmore, the smoke dispensers were very vulnerable to enemy gunfire, even machine guns and other smaller weapons could penetrate them. They tended to blow up accidentally then, discharging the smoke, quiete often hampering the crew itself.
So, due to these reasons, the smoke dispenser where only mounted on the turrets of all german tanks in a smaller period from 1943 until 1944. With the damage system changed for FH2 to reflect critical hits at weak spots, it would be easy to implement the accidental release of smoke charges, wouldn't it?

I don't want to rain on the parade here but:

If the CTD problem (major issue) is related to the variety of vehicle types, why the hell are you guys making and introducing more?

Player numbers are great when Euro players are awake but this mod is dead to the rest of the world it seems.

The last few nights (PST) have been a joke as there has been more people trolling the forums than playing this mod. Last night I had to leave when the only populated server dropped to less than 10 players. In fact, the real kick in the balls is that more people are playing FH1 lately during some time periods.

Please work on the crashes, I don't care about content if I can't play the game for longer than a map. The devs need to understand that these people who are crashing are NOT rejoining servers, this is killing the mod numbers slowly.

I have to admit, I never mastered the fine art of driving reconnaissance vehicles in FH. However even if I personally suck at using them, they both look really good and I look forward to seeing them in the game.

They'll find a fix, they always do. And they can't stop introducing new vehicles because of that, that's what FH is about, variety.

I was kinda hoping for the Italian rifle, but the SMLE will do just fine Can we have some details on it? Such as will accuracy, reload times or damage be affected? Will it have new animations? Will there be a sniper version?

PS. if an ingame screenshot of the puma were to slip, ***insert some words here***

you have to be kiddin!

FH 2.1 crashes allot less than the first release! and compared to FH 0.7 the crash ratio on a honest servercycle is not comparable in favour of FH2! believe me, i know what i am talking about.

its bad when we have two crashes aday, compared to numerous ones when we played all maps knowing that quite some of them were 50% crashprone with maximum players in the FH1 days.

now we can play all maps without thinking what nextmap to set for securing the serverpopulation!

The hypothesis is that crashes are related to the variety of vehicles per map. As long as we keep making new maps along with new vehicles, we'll have a place for all of them which we keep the number of vehicletypes per map limited.
