Re: M13/40 .. If I would illustrate my views of the game mechanics, its code and the way it works in detail, from the viewpoint of a gamer, people would probably call the ambulance. I rather abstain from that. :moodeath: |
Re: M13/40 .. So the best tank tactic is to jump out every time enemy tank is about to shoot you so your tank lasts longer? :naughty: |
Re: M13/40 .. Well, do the tests. When I oppose an enemy empty tank, probably already burning, I never waste my rounds on it, but strafe the soldiers running around. But when it has become occupied, I kill it with a single shot, or at least less shots than I would need for the empty one. I didn't want to wright thinks like these, but I believe the tanks are bot controlled. It is just that the bots have been castrated to have no function and AI. They are just sitting in a hidden seat. So, there is some sort of intermediate stage between an empty vehicle and a player controlled one. The castrated bots are equipped with a special code, that allows the tanks to have higher armor values. I'd like to point at the Willis Jeep. It is a 3 seater and once left, it will appear on the mini. The SAS-Willis is a 2 seater, and once you leave it, it will stay occupied. I think this is due to the hidden bot on seat 3. Ok, now you may disassemble me.;) |
Re: M13/40 .. maybe it's based on the players level in BF2.. the armor values beeing multiplied by the players level.. so a tank can have 100 in armor, but if a level 16 player is driving it, it has an armor of 1600.. hmm |

Re: M13/40 .. Yes but heīs right, the īlockedīstatus is achieved by an invisible bot in the vehicle. |
Re: M13/40 .. So tanks are locked by the same mechanism? Hence Dukat's assertion? |

the best of of course kill your enemy before he kill you =p=p |
Re: M13/40 .. So that is what i've been doing wrong all the time? do'h But i guess now i have a perfect excuse whenever i lose a tank duel.. "He jumped out!".. |
