The bofors are alot more spread out then in the fh1 version (which mainly just had the one huge battery). I think there's at least one hiding in each of the vinyard/orchids you can see on the minimap, and two behind the aerodrome.

Flying over the Maleme airfield with a Ju52 is very foolish, as it holds the most AA-power. It has a battery there. Even the smaller and agile Stuka is in great danger flying above that airfield. But what it comes to the quick and tiny Messerschmitt? Haha, I love flying that thing above the airfield when all that flak is going off around. Feels and sounds like flying in a thunder.

I love watching the JU's coming in and being hit by 4+ different bofors from like 4 different grids. As for Pepe, this looks awesome, I love the idea of more people then just staff mappers making good maps that will be incorporated into release because it means the maps can be cranked out faster which means more patches lol.

Yay, I'm glad to see an accurate use of Lewis .303s on it! Needed more of em in the original release. And, keeping with accuracy, there should be one, maybe two, Matilda's, the Brits used them like mobile pillboxes. Also, in reference to the Bofors being spread out, the Brits had most of em holed up in a vineyard/orchard. But keeping it spread works too: don't want a single "death in the skies" sector and clear blue anywhere else sort of deal. Great job lads! Didn't get to try it on FH.7 but can't wait to try it for FH2. Cheers!

I can see people riding with bikes up to matildas, laying out the demo charges and biking away. Since there are only reports of a few 2 pounders on the map and no german tanks, the only thing to take out the matildas will be demo charges and stukas.

This version of crete is mostly and Infatry map, germans must control 3 out of 6 flags to stop the bleed in the 64 players version. Some of those flags gives new pickup kits for the germans only, also some vehicles. The matilda spawns once every 20 minutes.. so if you dont take care of your lovely tank, you will be in the same order of offensive power as the germans. Boffors are a big pain in the ass for the planes.. so big that you have to fly as hight as possible to get out of their range, almost 70% of the map is covered by AA fire so putting the first step in to the island is kind of difficult if you dont play as a team. The 2 pounders are useless against the matilda, so that's the stukas's job. Also a good german team will blow the boffors since they dont respawn until someone repairs them. Flag racing is not an option.. or you will loose the map.. that we can tell you about the beta test so be prepared for an excelent gameplay, team up, form squads and follow your commander, if not, be prepared to be ass raped Last edited by DarkPepe; April 21st, 2008 at 04:36 PM..

Talking about AA power, I told earlier the map has 2100+ objects to keep a good performance in low spec machines, as a "trade coin" we gave the map a HUGE view distance so AA fire can be directed to incomming enemy planes at long distances... This is how it looks (also check the paratrooper worst nightmare: the Boffors):
