Really, all that remains is several weeks of hardcore betatesting to make sure that everything is as balanced as possible before we release. All the gear is there, and it all works. Now it's just down to cramming in as many test sessions as possible to fine tune the numbers.

Yes, I believe that is the case.

With the first release, perhaps the majority of time was taken up in coding, coding gameplay, etc. In other words, the skeletal structure of the mod.

With future releases, it'll be a matter of simply creating the additions (3D models, maps) and adding them in (obviously they have to be coded in, but the foundations and structure would already be pre-existing). Of course, there will be tweaks and such, but I'm pretty sure the first release will be the one we'll have to wait longest for by far.

I wouldn't be surprised if after the first release we got new releases every half year or so.

This is all pure speculation though. I'm not sure what the devs. would say about it, though I do remember them saying something similar to this.

Good to here fellas. Rome wasn't built in a day, shame some other people think it was. Beta test it up and I think you'll be more happy than all the fans to get people out of your face. Keep it up ;0)
