^ Seconded. Stuff like that, stuff that gives me a feel for what it'll be like to play the game, make me very happy.

Oh, odd question - will FH2 tank shells be RO/BF2 style (large, glowing, visible) or FH1 style (tiny, black, no idea where they're landing)?

At this moment we are using the BF2 style. But something more interesting, tank coaxials: pretty tracers, bullet drop and deviation, it will need skills, not the FH1 laser guns animore, and ricocheting

Excellent "update" devs!

I am one of many (that is a Borg phrase you know) that appreciate your fine efforts and dedication to giving complete strangers a workable product.

Just in time for the holidays - very kool!!

ok, i admit, that the mg was used standing by few mgers but it wasnt that common and not the purpose of the mg. and thats enough to not implement it in fh besides the rambo style u can do so in a game.
I agree it was not that common. Otherwise, I don't have an opinion about whether or not "standing mg" should be available. I just know that soldiers used it from time to time; but I don't think only those mgers "in despair" resorted to it.

That's interesting because the MG34/41 was a completly different weapon, a MG34 with similar fire rate to the MG42. The 21st Panzer Division reenactment unit in my area has one.

Agreed, Koschorrek uses it enough as a heavy machinegunner (he was a tripod MG gunner from 1942 to 1945 on the ostfront) to make it seem like it was indeed a valid, well used tactic, but only in attack, or desperate situations. However, considering the conditions of WW2, that happened quite alot:P

However, in the end, you can't put it ingame do to the ramboing that would be done..

That sounds awesome. I do like the BF2-style better as it makes me feel like I've fired a shell. The tracers on coaxies - can't wait to see them in action.

sweet guys, it just seems annoying that no game truly portray's the effectivness of suppresion (health bar has alot to do with that), and hopefully this will help
also, will it be possible to make the hvy weapons crew operated? (aside from the ammo guys just camping with the mg's) b/c it helps alot to have a guy with a carbine covering your back

I don't know about you, but when i used to play PR, the SAW M249 would scare the shit out of me when i heard it fire.

If i heard that thing tearing over head, i would lay down immediately, it was so intimidating. It was super loud, and very effective with a scary-fast rate of fire. I think in game people would be afraid of a guy charging with an MG34 being fired from the hip, i know i would be.

Hmm, is it possible to 'reload' bandages or they one shot items, so to speak? In other words if you have used your bandage you won't get a new one unless you respawn?
