I wanted to show it from a good angle and the British guy who the Tommygun originally belonged to got killed before I could get a nice screenshot. So when the German who shot him picked up the tommygun, I figured I might as well take a screenshot of him holding it.

I'd like to mention something concerning these 'unofficial' updates. It seems most Battlefield 2 newswebsites copied my post and the screenshots and put it up as regular FH2 news. This was not the intention of this thread and I made that clear in the first paragraph of my first post. I think it's quite silly of these websites to go ahead and copy my post, seemingly without even reading it, and attracting the same kind of negative replies that made us stop doing official newsupdates in the first place!

I'd suggest contacting the people responsible for adding news to these sites and asking them not to post FH2 updates unless they are on the main page. I'm sure they'll understand.

To a point I agree, I'm a huge fan of FH - have been for years. But honestly I think the FH team is blowing this out of proportion, your getting publicity who cares, if real fans of FH read the website info they'll understand what your doing - if they don't then I'm not sure why that's your problem. As for negative publicity, again who cares, people like this mod & are/have been anticipating the release for quite some time.

While I hate to say this the mod makers should be relaxing abit, just as I agree fans should. But you have to have thick skin to take criticism and well plain bitching - and if your a level headed adult I'm sure it won't be hard for you to do that.

That being said thanks again for the update just so we know where everything stands - and please try to stay humble, that's what makes the mod/devs great, as well as listening to fans.

Except it happened more times then I can count. Read the book infantry aces, or Blood Red Snow. In both accounts, the germans regularly use Machineguns in the "assualt" position, shown thusly:
