FH does Not work on vista (Why?)

I just got a bran new computer with Vista already on it, but When I go to play FH it doest work it just crashes after I load any map completely. My BF1942 version is 1.61 and I'm using FH 0.7. What is the problem? Could it actually be vista or something els. Also on another note other mods work fine accept FH.

Battlefield 1942 won't install and Forgotten Hope for Battlefield 1942 on Windows Vista and FH .7 Crashes on Vista, despite Compatability Settings Check those and come back.

I am running FH on Vista with all programs run as Admin and compatible with Win 98.

It lags at times and there are some shading issues whereas on XP i had zero lag and everything was Illuminated..

As soon as I get/install an additional hard drive, I'm going to install XP and all FH stuff on it...
