Forgotten Hope's OWN Wiki?

I think it should, should I make a wiki for it?

{TDB}Chicken June 6th, 2007 05:09 PM

This has already been attempted, but our good friends at Wikipedia felt it necessary to delete the entry due to a lack of reliable sources, even though Desert Combat (or some other BF42 mod) already has one...

NO NO NO! Not a wikipedia article, but it's OWN wiki. NOT on wikipedia! Do you get my point?

Coca-Cola June 6th, 2007 05:44 PM

I like it. Have the articles by fuzzy and others like that Ha-Go to hell you American scum(or whatever he said) with a lot of up to date info from the game like the one that PR has.

R38 4010 June 6th, 2007 05:48 PM

Just lemme get all the PHP files needed then I'll be done!

Oh my, sorry, I misunderstood you. Yeah, that seems to be a good idea.

R38 4010 June 6th, 2007 06:04 PM

ok, it's at Domain Maintenance copy and paste, edit as a non member, but join so I know who is who. I dunno why it's why called domain maintenance, just, click.

R38 4010 June 6th, 2007 06:10 PM

Oh, and, if the link will take you to a editing page, please, exit that page! Or, things will happen, what things? I won't tell. Can someone else makes the wiki using Meta-Wiki Software? PLEASE! That software stuff is killing me!

Natty Wallo June 6th, 2007 08:32 PM

maybe first learn the software before engaging into a project that requires using it...

General_Henry June 6th, 2007 09:46 PM

very good idea, a FH family wiki that have all mini mods in :)

Ronin Pedroshin June 7th, 2007 10:24 AM

It sure would be a great thing to have near the 1st release. It could help a lot of newbies getting used to the new features introduced, like the PR wiki already does.

Coca-Cola June 7th, 2007 10:28 AM

It would sure save a lot of time with mods.

Propugnator June 7th, 2007 10:32 AM

Yeah, we need an 'official' FH/FH2 wiki, so any new people to the mod have a place to start, rather than asking for hepl in game or on the forums (not that doing that is bad), but this will make everything easier to handle.

Forget that top part, I thought it was an admin page. Heh.

wjlaslo June 7th, 2007 02:29 PM

I like it. It would have really helped me when I first installed 0.6...

If I had more computering skill I would help as much as I could but unfortunately I'm not much better than downloading and installing.

Fuzzy Bunny June 7th, 2007 03:51 PM

Wiki would be cool. Do yourself a favor though and require logins (verified by captchas) to edit.

Daishi 1 June 7th, 2007 04:48 PM

Yea, it would be really cool to have an all-FH Wiki. Wikis always seem to attract more people...I personally look more in-depth at a mod that has a wiki; it makes it look more plausible to be finished. It also makes it look more professional-ish.

Propa McGanda June 8th, 2007 01:00 PM

I don't know if I want to put too much effort into it, if it's made by a guy with 6 posts. No offense or anything, but it'd be nice if it was more official.

Other than that, yeah, it's a good idea.

R38 4010 June 8th, 2007 01:15 PM

You now need to sign up to edit :D

Maxa June 8th, 2007 02:05 PM

I really like the idea, and I hope people will find the time to develop it... like said, at least a semi-official status would help

Mexican Jesus willing, you would need to log-in/be approved by the developers...actually that isn't such a good idea, Lobo hates me.
