but why cant i get the friggin .exe file? i hate .rar files, something always goes wrong and they end up not working for days while i sort out the one miniscule mistake i made.

@kading: i loaded the rar file now and extracted the files in their specific places...simply follow the instructions in the readme.txt thats all... no reason to be afraid of rar. Btw aren't we all afraid of microsoft, nevertheless using windows (most of us)

Stylie, it's the most recent bratwurst version. Install the first file, then install 1.41 and you will be up to date.
