Considering to buy a new graphic card for FH2, want some suggestion, plz
UNIKA X800XT(AGP)
256MB/256bit
HY 2.8ns DDR memory
16 pipes
400MHz/700MHz frequency
Now I'm using Raedon9800pro, and I want to buy a new card for FH2 which should be able to play FH2 at highest video setting. Do you friends think the card refered above can do this? I know X800 does not support DX9.0c, SM3.0, but I think these maybe not required too much in BF2 engine. 7600GS(AGP) is being released in my country, too, the prize of JETWAY version is almost the same as UNIKA X800XT. Could you friends give some suggestion for me to buy which one? I have only one request - to play FH2 at highest video setting. My CPU is AMD Sempron 64bit 2500+(Overclocked to 2.1GHz), RAM is 1.5GB. Thanks friends!

your processor is fine, you probably will have to add another half gig to that ram to play at the absolute highest settings, but 1.5 will get you by on a mix of medium/high depending on resolution. the x800xt should just be enough to get you highest settings. the x800xt is going to be faster than the 7600, even a gs.

My usual resolution is 1024*768, of course, 1280*1024 is better if possible:lol:

Well since you have a AGP motherboard, you have two choices:[list][*]Buying a new PCI-E motherboard with a PCI-E videocard ( which will be able to be updated with newer videocards later on ).[*]Buy a AGP card but be stuck with it as there won't be any ( or very few ) AGP VGA cards coming out soon.
If you decide to stay with your AGP, I can recommend you a Gainward 7800GS 512Mb which basicly uses the same core as a 7900.
If you decide to go with PCI-E, you could go for a cheaper 7600GT now and buy a DX10 card when they are released.

7800GS? Polska, you must be joking! It costs too much!
I'm not planning to change to PCI-E right now, I will stick with AGP until DX10 is released.

I have a x800xt, not overclocked, 1 Gb mem and a P 540 3,4 ghz, also not OC'ed.
I run it fine at 1280 x 1024 with 2x AA.
I kept my sounds settings on medium, cos they still bug me since 1942.
Could be that the Sempron is weakest link, kinda like a Pentium Celeron.
If you can upgrade your CPU, you must. BF2 is a hungry resource eating beast and i guess FH2 will add the beast's son and he is hungry too
