That's too too long time until I can afford DX10 cards. (At least 1 year later?) It must be very expensive when it comes out, I can only buy it when its price gets low enough

Hmm I have the same sound card, maybe it is a combo of high sound and video settings that doesn't sit well with BF2.

I bought UNIKA 8028XT this afternoon, Now I can play BF2 at 1280*1024, all high video setting (except Dynamic Shadow is turned off, because the edge of the shadow is full of sawtooth, so ugly ), 4X Anti-Aliasing, 100% view distance. The average FPS is 50 to 60, enough to play smoothly.

I use the X850 pte xt it works like a dream. But the extra clock isnt worth all the cash..(unless you find it for real cheap)..but the the whole x800 familia rules the world of computer games with an iron fist of sexyness

Depends on you mobo and your money. Hvae you got PCI-E slots or AGP ?
If PCI-E get a x1800XT or better yet a x1900XT if agp a x800XT or x850PTE will do just fine.

If you have patience wait for the direct X10 cards to show. Saves you some money.

There could be a possible chance that the first DX10 cards could come out at the sametime when FH2 is released.

I use a Geforce 7900GTX with 512 MB Ram.
I can run BF2 in 1600 x 1280, with all on high and 4xAA and 4xAF.
Offcourse this is an expensive card, but it is worth
