Re: Newsupdate 26th June Yeah! Can't want! EDIT : Nvm, nice! What kind of gun of gun will we see in this gun emplacement ? |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June This makes staying up for 24 worth it! Aruuuugggga!Nice Update! |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Yey, first poster or so. Welcome, bizness to the upper echelon of society as we know it today. May you develop long and prosper! Truck looks good - nice to skoot around the desert with my dear. I need one of those arty emplacements in my back yard to ward off summer heat! Nice buildings, good work one and all! |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com...anvilla_02.jpg Look at the Italian war poster! I am having high hops for seeing the Italians in the first release.:bows: O and there is another on the back building! Can we get a closer look at it? |

But it's up so it's allright.. Looking great guys.. Love it all :p Oh and Welcome Bizness :) |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Congrats Bizness at making the team! :) Singleplayer duties...? ;) That house looks great Toddel and all those small accessiories will definitely come in very useful. Truck looks good too. I'm intrugued by the arty emplacement - where does the wooden bunker/wall fit into it? I love the camo netting though :) Good job devs (and Toddel) :) |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June the testmap is really shaping up nicely, I bet its great to just drive around in it and check all the buildings out,... |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Very nice update, especially the villa! And congrats to bizness :D |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June WOW!!! I am just blown away by this update ..... The Villa and FlaK trench both look amazing!!!!! The level of detail you guys manage to produce never ceaces to amaze! :D Take your time with it guys its starting to shape up really nicely! FH2 is gonna completely outclass every other mod for BF2 when its released of that i am certain. Thanks for all you hard work guys heres one on me  Jimbom |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Congrats on making the team bizness, hope this will mean ace bot support for FH2. It will make alot of people happy for sure. And great job Toddel and all the devsters that worked on these statics. |

Re: Newsupdate 26th June yeah, ofcourse.. .. it's always something.. :D |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Absolutely great update! I realy like the new static objects, truck looks good too, same good as in FH.:p |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Stuff looks great, but it doesn't look right seeing that kind of truck in Africa.. It's more a Western Front(France) type of vehicle, it still looks great though. The building is nicely done, I like variety! :) That Bunker looks great too, but where does that wooden entrance lead to? p.s.: It looks like you guys have been a little shy lately, maybe there is something really big coming up(a tank or a plane)? :D |

Hey, I can dream;). It's the truck I'm looking forward to. I don't know why, but I'm an avid truck driver in Forgotten Hope and probably will be in Forgotten Hope 2 too. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June OH MY GOD THAT WOULD BE SWEET, PICTURE WALKING INSIDE THE B-17 TO GET TO DIFFRENT SPOTS, I'M PEEING MY SELF JUST THINKING ABOUT IT! About the news, I love the new wooden trench, it looks like you FH guys are doing a great job. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Good update! All models look great, but I think that truck needs to have a bit more 'desert taste'. IMO it needs more desert dust, and it's too dark to have been rusted in the desert. It needs a yellow rust. But it's a good skin for the european theatre. |

Re: Newsupdate 26th June Great, Simply, Great. :nodding: |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Great stuff. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June i love this update, cant wait to use that civillian trucka and ram that arty position. anyway very good update, keep up the good work. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Wonderful! Welcome aboard Bizness, alright show's over you get back to bizness and start working... Nice truck...As stated it's a little too dark I think for the desert, but still very nice. The FlaK emplacement looks cool. BTW, those of you wondering about the door, it's the door shown in the trench from an earlier update, the door leads into the arty emplacement. |

Re: Newsupdate 26th June Sweet. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June You mean this shot?? http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com..._trench_02.jpg I'm pretty certain thats a slightly different trench system |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June It's just a tunnel below the flak trench, conects the front and back, in other versions I will make an underground room to sleep and rest of the painful fight |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Those footprints in the sand are such a great touch. Please do that more. I'd love to see footprints and tracks in the sane around bases, bunkers, etc. Quote:

Re: Newsupdate 26th June Great to see the civilian trucks ingame, they look great. and the new statics also look great. the test map is starting to look crowded! woot! :D well done on joining the team Bizness! |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Looks great as always, but doesn't that truck look abit TOO clean? And congrats to bizness on making the team |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Great update guys. I'm always enjoy updates w/ statics, I'm looking forward to more immersive atmosphere amongst all the other things. Nice job Toddel as well. I agree that the truck could also either use more dirt or a change of liscense plates. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June First of all amazing work guys and congratulations Bizness for making it in the so-called 'Illuminati Headquaters'. Can't wait to see your new contributions to FH2. The civilian truck created by Rad looks real good ingame. I especially like it's colour and the 'rusty ' look, but I have to agree with Symz and others that by adding some sandstains on the tires and the trucks body the enplacement of the truck will look even more believable in the desert. Toddels villa looks really impressive, so thumbs up. The only thing I don't like about it is the way one of the gatedoors is hanging in its hinge, but this is a mere esthetic critic. Right now from its looks, it looks like it is not subject to any natural law of physics or whatso ever. In the final product it will definitely look better wenn one of the gatedoors is just laying on the ground. So that it looks like it was been breached. Just my two cents.... I also really like the 'test' enplacement of the Flak on the middle roof or the villa. Now the top floor to left can give the emplacement some protection from strafing enemy fighters. To give the operator of the Flak even more cover is it possible to add a small sandbag fortification around every AA enplacement, just high enough so you can shoot over it? Even if its placed on top of a building? I know this is possible in the BF2 engine, because some of the roof stinger enplacements in Bf2 have sandbags surrounding them. Like the ones in the southern flag area of the sharqi peninsula map. I really hated it in FH1 that rooftop AA, like the ones on the buildings in Supercharge, where never protected from the sides by sanbags. Also the lack of any form of protection around static guns like these gives the position an 'unnatural' look. If I was a AA-gunner in real life, I would definetely place some nonburnable objects around it to give both gun and operator some extra form of protection. Last but not least: the artillery enplacement. Now that's what I'm talking about in the last chapter; protected enplacements. Small stonewalls protecting both gun and operator from small arms fire. You did an amazingly good job on this one Lobo. At our 'special FH forum meeting/Museumtrip' last Sunday we saw a protected gun enplacement just like this one, including the camouflagenetting. I said to my fellowclanmates, Invincible and Undertaker, that we needed more camouflagenetting on static AT-gun enplacements in FH. And now we have them. Not only do they look 'cool' but also give the enplacement a more 'real feel' and hopefully make the operators of the enplacements more difficult to spot for enemy fighters. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Great update, as always! |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Just nice. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Good stuff, i really like the artillery bunker, having a 88 in there is going to be murder on allied armor. As for the truck, i dont think it belongs there, it misses the dirt on the wheels that the other road vehicles we have seen in the other updates have.. and again, it just looks out of place. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June nice update |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Good stuff as usual, looking forward to playing this. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Good stuff as always, now all I want is an 88 in that bunkerhole. |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June love :D |

"Just"?! Tunnels are the awesomest thing I know short of trucks and bombers with interiors (as long as the pilot isn't allowed to roll them, that is:))! |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Nice update, its nice to see some more statics. Can't wait to see how the mappers will use them! :D Wasn't expecting the civilian car, so it was a nice surprise. Any chance of putting in the "traktor" as well? We all know its the best vehicle in FH. :p |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Not in desert but I guess in 0.2, FH without das uber trakt0r is not FH |

Re: Newsupdate 26th June Nice update, lovely truck, nice villa and nice props. :) |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Looking awesome as usual, can't wait for the release so that I can try everything out :D |
Re: Newsupdate 26th June Temporary bump. FOund out the FH website doesn't have a link to this newsupdate. See http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com...6&lang=english . This post will be delete when a dev fixed the newsupdate error. Edit: Other "missing" news update threads. Probably burried in the forum history but no link included in the actual news update.
