Great update guys. I'm always enjoy updates w/ statics, I'm looking forward to more immersive atmosphere amongst all the other things. Nice job Toddel as well.
I agree that the truck could also either use more dirt or a change of liscense plates.
First of all amazing work guys and congratulations Bizness for making it in the so-called 'Illuminati Headquaters'. Can't wait to see your new contributions to FH2.
The civilian truck created by Rad looks real good ingame. I especially like it's colour and the 'rusty ' look, but I have to agree with Symz and others that by adding some sandstains on the tires and the trucks body the enplacement of the truck will look even more believable in the desert.
Toddels villa looks really impressive, so thumbs up. The only thing I don't like about it is the way one of the gatedoors is hanging in its hinge, but this is a mere esthetic critic. Right now from its looks, it looks like it is not subject to any natural law of physics or whatso ever. In the final product it will definitely look better wenn one of the gatedoors is just laying on the ground. So that it looks like it was been breached. Just my two cents....
I also really like the 'test' enplacement of the Flak on the middle roof or the villa. Now the top floor to left can give the emplacement some protection from strafing enemy fighters. To give the operator of the Flak even more cover is it possible to add a small sandbag fortification around every AA enplacement, just high enough so you can shoot over it? Even if its placed on top of a building? I know this is possible in the BF2 engine, because some of the roof stinger enplacements in Bf2 have sandbags surrounding them. Like the ones in the southern flag area of the sharqi peninsula map. I really hated it in FH1 that rooftop AA, like the ones on the buildings in Supercharge, where never protected from the sides by sanbags. Also the lack of any form of protection around static guns like these gives the position an 'unnatural' look. If I was a AA-gunner in real life, I would definetely place some nonburnable objects around it to give both gun and operator some extra form of protection.
Last but not least: the artillery enplacement. Now that's what I'm talking about in the last chapter; protected enplacements. Small stonewalls protecting both gun and operator from small arms fire. You did an amazingly good job on this one Lobo. At our 'special FH forum meeting/Museumtrip' last Sunday we saw a protected gun enplacement just like this one, including the camouflagenetting. I said to my fellowclanmates, Invincible and Undertaker, that we needed more camouflagenetting on static AT-gun enplacements in FH. And now we have them. Not only do they look 'cool' but also give the enplacement a more 'real feel' and hopefully make the operators of the enplacements more difficult to spot for enemy fighters.
Good stuff, i really like the artillery bunker, having a 88 in there is going to be murder on allied armor.
As for the truck, i dont think it belongs there, it misses the dirt on the wheels that the other road vehicles we have seen in the other updates have.. and again, it just looks out of place.

I was stupid enough, despite several warnings, to get my self banned. First I was generally rude in a thread, which got me temp banned. Then I came back with another account just so I could post in vengeance against one of the moderators . And that upgraded my temp-ban to a permanent ban.
