A little info on screenshots.

For you guys, who love taking SS, like me, just remember they do take up a lot of space. I had 25% left on my Raptor HDD and removed over 4000 pics(FH and RO) and gaind 25% ,I was getting some serious lag ingame.

Just go into the SS folder and and remove all of them(Or only old ones). I guess most of you already know this or don't have,"Must-press-F9-and-Printscreen-because-I-dont-know-which-one-does-it" syndrom. Once again I am just warning people who like to take screenshots(Even though most of you know this).

4000 screenies? You don't happen to have one of those screenshot-movie thingies installed ? :)

I tried that once, but I noticed an increase in lag and I basically left my old HDD in the wilderness of my desk to fend for itself.

Heh, too true. I was reading about a guy who had over 14,000 screen shots of a Half Life 2 mod called Empires.

/me goes to clean out his screenies

Havent taken any screenshots on this laptop, but that other piece of junk in my room has about 500Mb dedicated to HL2/RO/FH screenies alone.

That would be sick! Yet at the same time a surefire way to generate some laggy stuttering.

Re: A little info on screenshots.

I use a tool called "Grap clip save" for my screenshots, and i have no fps drop at all while taking a screenshot.

So, it would work...

:lol::lol:

I have to admit I like to try and keep my Raptor 'clean' so I don't take many screenshots, the last screenshot I took was a few weeks back When I got 130-130-3 on BOTB using a Panzer 4 and I've now added it too my ego folder

Videos on the other hand are much more fun too take.

Let me guess, you were parked sideways watching the last allied spawnpoint?

I had 47 GB's of screenshots on my old computer (before I shot it up) going all the way back to bf1942 1.2, early dc, parallel world etc all the way up to FH 0.67.

hehe I do that on Arnhem :)

Nah, the Allied team wasn't particularly good and basically I just drove around like a sneaky bugger doing hit and runs on flags. I got alot of Zookas hitting my Side Skirts which in total would have killed me like 20 times.

Re: A little info on screenshots.

I hardly ever take screenshots, when I do I be sure to sort them out ASAP. Ditch the bad ones and upload the good ones somewhere. Never had any problems with tons of screenies taking up HD space. :)
