Ballistics in FH2 I'm curious if the ballistics in FH2 will be realistic like in RO for example. Meaning will there be bullet drop and will tank rounds not arc so much like they do in the retail BF games? Thanks. |

Re: Ballistics in FH2 Scaled down, or realistic? If you want to be perfectly accurate, then the L/24 75mm gun shouldn't have to angle so far up for a 100 yard shot. I perfer scaled, however, so the current way works fine for me. |
Re: Ballistics in FH2 Unless it is possible to increase the view-distance a lot in BF2 the scaled version is probably the only one that will make sense. I guess with completly realistic ballistics it would be too easy to hit a tank. |

But ya most of your shots with high velocity weapons should be flatter rather than high arcing imo . . . the realism and difficulty comes in from adding dynamic armor ratings and glancing (like RO). I don't know if BF2 supports that though. Nevertheless I am interested in trying this mod out when it's ready. |
Re: Ballistics in FH2 Ah, you have not tried FH1, don't worry, it's totally diferent from vanilla BF42 and we will use the same phylosophy in BF2, hopefully more sophisticated |
