AFAIK, the 6800 series is dropping alot in price after the 7800 came along.

A 6600GT is enough to make BF2 look great, even SF runs really well unless there is alot of action on screen but I heard people with monster rigs having that problem too. If you want everything on high than you do need at least a 6800GT (or ati equivalent) and more than a gig of ram will be very usefull too.

Now about th update, very nice stuff guys. It's great that we can look forward to such quality stuff every week. Can't wait to pay Lara a visit!

Can't run BF2 with any of the fancy lighting effects...so I'm going to miss out on the near perfect looking shadows, and that crazy lighting in the tomb. Also, if you're going to invest in an AGP 6800GT, do it now, before none are left. Newegg is out of them, and I doubt Tigerdirect has many either. I found a 7800GT on newegg for $289, I think you might be able to find a 6800GT for about $200.

Oh, main reason I probably can't run nice lights is cause I'm using an old 2.6Ghz P4C...

I'm keping good track of the Invasion 1944 mod, OFP makes me dribble sometimes. Too bad we can't have the best of both worlds (OFP [2] engine & BF 2 engine).

Very impressive...great work guys...

I especially like the small details on the bunker, such as the twisted wires hanging out on the side.

Great new statics!

Personaly I think its great that the devs develop alot of statics cause it gives the special atmoshere over the maps! Vehicle and weapons isnt everything!
