There are much bigger and noticeable, and therefore worth adding, differences between Panzer III (or any other tanks with several variants in FH) variants than between most different fighter variants.
Besides, as Mp5-Killa said, the non essential vehicles like the WV beetle that you seem to consider a second class addition compared to a slightly different BF109, actually make FH even more realistic (and cool of course) than if it just had every single model of a couple of vehicles.

I prefer anytime to have the devs surprising us with more vehicles like the WV or the Traktor than with a new model of the Tiger that's just different from the old one in a couple of details.

As a hardcore 109 fan I take great offence to this! *slaps lightning with gloves*
It's like saying a 1967 Chevy Chevelle is the same as a 1968 Chevelle. They just look totally different! The Gustavs certainly outperform the Emils in the case of the 109 and look VERY different.
Are you saying a Me109-G10 is the same as any Emil? You better not be!
And yes I have modeled a 109G6 with the early cockpit and a 109G6 A/S with the later cockpit and better engine. The model can be easily made into the later Gustavs and Kurfürst variants since there isn't THAT big of a difference in looks between the Gs and K. Also, altering my G model into an F wouldn't be too hard.
I've had no time lately for working on FH things because of real life crap. So I've been inactive on the team while I pay bills and goto school full time. No one has taken up the offer of finishing the puppy off for me.

It will definately be in FH2. =)

Ok, those differences are pretty big. I take back what I said. Now finish those models Jackal. I've never been a Bf 109 fan, but that G model looks pretty cool.

(Also, your sig is too big Werwolf1944. Maximum height is 160 pixels.)

There's one thing that the Emil has that I wish the later versions had...

The Emil had two wing mounted 20mm canons. Yeah, yeah, the later variants had the option of a 30mm on the nose but those are for girly men. True hardcore 109 pilots use 20mm!

You could make a Bf 109G-1 with underwing 20mm gunpods?

Might be cool to have random weapon layouts like that.

I modeled the gunpods for it already. Most of the later 109s had the option of mounting 20mm gunpods and some could even take 30mm gunpods.

The gunpods cause drag and weigh down the plane so that's why I wish there was a Gustav with them built into the wing and the nose 20mm removed.

So Jackal will finish the 109G and there will be a hotfix soon???

I was a little bit disappointed to see that theres still no 109G in FH.
So many things are new or changed in 0.7 but....

I am a 109 fan and its a little bit sad. But anyway, if there was no one to make the skin on an existing model it shouldnt be.

Despite the fakt that the devs spend THOUSANDS of hours into this huge 2GB-mod without getting paid we got indeed the BEST mod ever made for a game!
