Will Tanks be at a "correct size" in FH2?
 

It seems to me that the tanks in FH seems too small in comparison with the infantry.

So just out of curiosity, will FH2 offer a good ratio size between tanks and infantry?

Incorrect sizing was a characteristic of Bf42. The reason FH didn't correct it is because it used so many dice statics and vehicles that it would have been an enormous amount of effort to redo them all. I don't own Bf2 but I believe the scale is more correct in it. Even if it isn't FH2 is going to need to make a lot of new content anyways since Bf2 is modern combat, however they may be able to reuse some buildings that don't look modern...

Most FH vehicles already have their correct sizes, but yes, in FH2 all stuff will be scaled properly.

Yeah this bothers me sometimes too. When I went to the Imperial War Museum I was amazed at how big some of the tanks were compared to FH. For example the Sherman, seemed much much bigger in real life.

I think the whole "wrong size" effect (or illusion in the case of the correct sized FH models) is partly to do with the vehicle's physics. The Bf42 vehicles all feel as if they are a kid's plastic toy and generally don't feel heavy enough for what they're supposed to be. This was improved on majorly in BF2 so FH2 should be right up there scale-wise!

The fact that the camera is on the BF 1942 player's chest also makes the vehicles look smaller.

The Königstiger and the Stalin have the correct size already, for example.

T-34 and the Sherman´s are Dice like undersized.

yeh try looking at the tanks when u can see the hole player model ..

i have to agree with some tanks being huge ... eg the stug its only ment to be about a head taller than a human.

Actually, it's only new skins & new turret, the chassis/body of the T-34's is still Dice but tweaked if I'm not mistaken.
