At this point who cares? I have a hard time believing that you even do.

Re: to whoever

That was a topic that almost didn't even need that much discussion. There was really only 2 major mods that ported over to BF:V (EoD, BG), the rest knew it was a dead end road and it would bear more fruit to port to the new BF2 engine. EoD in my mind died at that point, they had a good thing going on the old BF1942 engine up until that point, and BG42 I didn't really play.

I think before that thread came about the FH devs already knew the answer to that question, the thread more or less gave the community something to do/discuss.

The updated Refractor engine didn't really offer that much more in the form of the BF:V release and was a bit more resource hungry and imo chugged like a mofo indoors for whatever reason. I'm so glad FH didn't go down that road and waited it out, I wish I could have said the same for EoD but it being a vietnam mod I can slightly understand the draw to port being there but it was a bad decision in the long run imo.

I haven't played BF:V in god knows how long I can't even remember.
Geeze, I haven't played BF2 either since....*checks* July 16, 2005, 2:44 am

Oh he was talking about the the post. You'd think that would make me feel better, but now I just feel dumb.

Comrade0Red said :"Search Button." and also said,
"Just saying there was an abundant ammount of information.

Symptomatik said: "That was a topic that almost didn't even need that much discussion."

But it seems my similar remark, in which I again pointed out the lack of post discipline of some (for the most part) newer forum members, as well as stating my opinion that mods in the past weeks may have been letting the reins get too loose, mysteriously disappeared without explanation. Hmmmm....

My crusade against idiotarian, duplicative and childish threads and posts continues, whether I'm censored or not. I think I need a Joan of Arc icon....
