The Bf2editor is great, although some bugs here and there. Its very easy to use and quite powerful. I have no mapping experience and I made a little map with buildings and vehicles. Then I played it, it was frigging awesome hehe...

Well, this is great news, dl'ing now.

I'm interested like many other people about how much easier this will making modding/mapping as compared to the previous process for BF1942.

Well, Objects/effects section is very very cool, I prefer using notepad and checking it in editor, but I can get used to editor I think.

Mapping is horrible though.

HORRIBLE!

(I alt tab to return to texturing my immense landscape)
