Since the infantry combat is much better in BF2 than it was in BF42, I'm looking forward for some realy impressive battles in Stalingrad or Berlin for FH2...

But I voted: "a mix of all of above"

Btw...whats the difference in "a mix of all of above" and "all above"? I dont get it...

all above is that you like fight in plains, fight in citys or fight with those weird mountain maps

a mix is a map with those 3 styles, a mountqain place with an open plain in the middle with a village

I think the Italian theater will bring some refreshing maps. I remember there was a map I used to play sometimes in BF1918 and I beleive it was supposed to be in France (sorry it was a long time ago and I'm not so sure now), Anyhow it reminded me of Road to Rome style of maps, with uphill battles, little grassy gnoles on the edge of a cliff so to speak with guys crouching and shooting down at your while you were trying to make your assault uphill, at the time I thought yeah this is what FH needs, maps with more terrain veriation as it definately adds dynamics that you don't see in the flat normandy maps, or desert maps, or russian maps etc.

Is it me or are the maps in BF2 huge, even with 64 ppl. A 64 person map has what, like 12 flags or something? and there's still tonnes of empty space left in the map as well as all the out of bounds space.

I know for sure that I'm excited about the possibility of real or closer to real looking forests in FH2, that's a biggy for me, as well as the scale of buildings.

Maps with a mix of characteristics would definately be great as bf1942 had some troubles acheiving that, but I also beleive maps more akin to what we've already seen in FH also will still hold their place.

I think FH2 should build on the same 16-32-64 player idea BF2 does, so we can satisfy everyone: 16 players - pure urban combat, 32 players - one side has to assault the city area with mechanized forces, 64 players - hughe Tank battle all around the city.

Sucks how you've automatically (in your statement) decided that with 16 ppl they be stuck with urban combat only. I think the 16-32-64 map variation is cool but I don't think that 16 players should always be stuck with urban combat, otherwise why not just play CSS or something.

was just an example for it. You can always set a 16 player server to run 32 player maps no problem.
