I have a question. I'm currently downloading the mod and from all the information I have checked has got me excited. One problem though is when I look at the servers I don't see anyone playing. Do a lot of peeps play this mod. Do servers get filled up at all? Just curious. Didn't want to download and have no one playing. Thx

http://gamesdomain.yahoo.com/ase/register ASE works much better than the browser in Bf42. Also make sure you are downloading the right versions.

Im downloading the 0.65 then the 2 patches to 0.67a. I have ASE and the only servers I see populated are German servers. I never go by the in game server browser.

do you have ASE updated? I went some time without updating it and i only had about 8 servers show up. I updated and i have a bunch of servers showing up.

There is almost always at least one populated American server, considering the fact that the Wolf Gaming server is pretty much always full ;) , and during the afternoon and evening there will usually be around 5 good, populated servers that are located somewhere in the U.S. or Canada. :)

Ya my ASE is fully updated. I see the Wolf server and ya that seems to be the one with the most peeps. I guess I'm getting excited to play and want to have a lot of servers going. I'm almost done with the 1st of the 3 main files then I have work on the 2 0.67 patches. Hopefully soon I will be up and running.

Welcome, Sgt. Syko. You'll never regret getting FH, which is what regular BF1942 should have been. This forum is great with extensive knowledge about WWII and is international in scope. The developers are really, really cool and check the temperature of us devoted followers in these forums all the time. You get a few guys that bitch and moan in here but almost all of it is very well intentioned.

you may remeber the guy who where ban't yeasterday.. Cutistinker? the guy who claimd he was a person he was not.. and before that, he was ban't course of rasict replys.. it's not really brain surgery.. the guy is so intelligent he uses the same answer in his profil..

So I guess everyone who is new that registers here is this guy. I completely have no idea who you are talking about. I didn't come in here to attack anyone but to ask a question about the mod I'm downloading. It was all fine til you opened your mouth. I still don't get where your proof is, but if it's like your spelling skills then I can see why you are having these problems. Anyway back to topic. Which of the maps should I try first? Also if this is the way this community is then I may just have to hit delete. As for the Gender: Decline to Answer. I haven't even setup my profile til just now. WoW

You might also want to read the PM I sent you. This matter does not concern you and you cannot say with 100% certainty this is the same guy, so attacking anyone is completely out of the question. Any other posts on this subject will be deleted too.

Going over the FH site and the manual I downloaded. I noticed that on some of the maps it says "pushmode is supported" I looked everywhere but don't see what the pushmode is about. Can anyone elaborate on this mode. Is it just like a basic Assault mode where a team has to get to certain points before time runs out? What are the exact modes FH supports? Thx

Push mode is a variant of the conquest type but on maps supporting push mode you need to conquer the flags in a certain order. This is to prevent people driving to a back flag and cap it.

Welcome to the community! It's good that you join at this closely approaching turning point in this mod's history. Pretty soon it will be moving to Battlefield 2 (whenever that's releases + sometime after) and the upcoming release (.7) will be BF1942's last.

We're running low on veterans of "ye olde .5".

Ahhh Hailar. T34/85 vs. Chi-Ha was never a good map idea to start with. Too bad I didn't play 0.5 that much on internet, my connection was crap at that time :(. I'd like to see a few old renders or screenshots :)
