Re: MG-42 Sound Poll As said, one of the posted sounds will be used and none other made.. If you want that I make a new Mg42 sound you will have the best, perfect Mg42 sound in Fh 0.7 but probably not much more other new sounds... I think V.3,V.4,V.5 are similar enough to it. And about the echo for the MG42, I think it's not possible due coding to give the Mg-42 an echo..at least I've been told so. Some weapons can have an echo others not, that's because if you would fire an Mg42 ingame it will just end the sound with the echo instead of repeating the sound when you fire more shots than 1. And you guys, what do you think about using the V.6,V.7 sound for the 50.Cal ? It has the right RPM for it (for the ingame one). Maybe I'll make a Poll for the 50.Cal too cause it's also a very famous sound.. |
Re: MG-42 Sound Poll i belive it's possible to add an echo sound, think theres been one in early'r versions? but you have to mess with the soundscrip't to get it to work.. |
Re: MG-42 Sound Poll Everybody who wants more bass in the guns has never fired a real one. What Hollywood tells you a gun sounds like is not how a gun usually sounds. Muskets fired with a crack. Guns fire with a pop. Cannons fire with bass and a crack, and if you want the bass only you should stand half a mile away. I'd go for version 5 though, but I think that XWW2 has it right. I'd also agree that the sound needs more echo and some shells falling would be nice too as ear candy. |
Re: MG-42 Sound Poll Making it able for the MG42 to have an echo isn't my job :D And I don't think that you hear shells falling when you fire a Mg-42... But if some coder makes it able to have an echo, I can put shell falling into the echo.. |

Re: MG-42 Sound Poll I have 125ms time for the Mg-42 shoot so it's unpossible to add shell falling to it. However if the code allows an echo I can make one with shell falling.. |
