I liked the 4th and 5th ones the best, they best represented the correct rate of fire. However one thing that I may be mistaken about, ingame the MG42 doesn't seem to fire at the correct RPM, as in the amount of bullets that are fired. Seems a lot slower than it should be.
v.5 is the most realistic sounding one. Its 1200 RPM, you can't have it rat-tat-tatting. It could use some leadoff so it isn't so abrupt when you stop firing though. Some echo or shell noises or something.

none sound right to me, should sound like "burp" when shot in bursts.

Errr.. I'm using Firefox and only getting the option to save those files as a HTML page - Help?
I'm in FF also. Paint the file and hit "save as" - when the screen comes up asking you what to call it and where to put it, just delete ".htm" or whatever exctension there is after "wav" or "wmv". Then find out if you can "open" in the dl manager, or if not, dub click or "play" from whervever you put the file (desktop is easiest), or do an "open with" and choose an appropriate sound/music program if your prefs aren't set to auto do wavs or wmvs.
