Not sure where to post this but... Hey im Jedi, ive been looking at this mod for quite awile, and it looks great, however i have a really... really crappy internet ( its DSL and i cant download very well, i only get 29 kph or whatever a second ), well i was wondering if there was somewhere i could download this mod where i could pause and resume downloading?, something like Gigex, but i dont know what to download to get Gigex....ANY comments are welcome, thankyou for your time http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/pleased.gif -Jedi |

Re: Not sure where to post this but... I get about 30 kb/s and it took me over 15 hours to download originally if memory serves. Just leave it on - go out somewhere, return, go to sleep, go to school the next day and voilà a fresh copy of FH on your PC. |

Thanks for your help... ill have to try a few of these out... also i need to pause it, because i think theres a problem with my connection? it goes offline i think for a split second like every five minutes, and it kills downloads, it doesnt get me off of games... but i still cant download well, only on games it goes laggy on the server when it goes offline but then it stops. |

I find when I try to d/l from places listed on the fh site they are slow...I d/l everything for this MOD @ fileshack.com get a free i.d. and try there I noticed about a 150plus KB production rate. Also if ur dsl blows altogether make sure every phone in the house has a filter...and its plugged in correctly...and there's no more than four....you might also wanna try getting all cordless phones and hooking a multi-jack into one jack....good luck |

Re: Not sure where to post this but... Some ISP (at least here in Europe) only offers DSL with 25K download limit. I had 25K until this summer, when my ISP upgrade my download limit to 51K without to pay more for it. We'll get 1MB in a near future... Getright is a nice download manager. And i works fine with FireFox too ;) ABC bittorrent is a great Bittorrent client. Try it too :agreed: |
