Gun, can it. I suggest you read Ghost Soldiers. It the gruesome true story of the Marine, Army, and Navy POWs that were captured after the Philippines fell.

Here is one incident, verbatim:

The Japanese had the POWs dig an "air raid ditch". Well, half way through the digging the Japs sounded the air raid horn. But there were no bombers. Instead, the Japanese shot gasoline at the prisoners in the crowded ditch, then set them ablaze. Some escaped, but were shot as they were swimming away...

Did the US ever do anything like this during WWII? Never. As far as I am concerned, you are just an ignorant, idealistic little kid who doesn't know jack **** about the war.

No offense intended Anluschac but this statement is pretty stupid. The Japanese did wrong, yes, but it is not because the japanese people was fundamentaly "evil", its was not because every japanese was the antechrist incarnate. You can't seem to accept the fact that everyone did their share of wrong to some extent in that war, even your beloved country. That's not so hard, the RCAF bombed germany along the RAF in Dresden and I think this was one of the most useless and barbarous acts of the war. See, I disagreed with the actions of 2 or 3 crooked evil canadian generals and I'm sure I won't be arrested for treason.

yes komrad_b, both sides commited bad actions; the sentence for capital murder of 1, 20, 30,000 is the same
