The firebombing raid on Tokyo killed more people than the Nagasaki bombing did. The number of people rendered homeless by the bombing who later died of exposure, dehydradtion and starvation is still greater than the number of people who have died at Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

Genocide: Noun, The systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group.

Explain how two atomic bombs can be construed as genocide?

You act like this was done in peacetime against a unsuspecting enemy. Japan started the war, Japan was the ones using slave labor and executing civilians and POW's. That you can even act like the Japanese were the offended parties is beyond my emotional response range. I am speechless. If they diodnt want to be bombed then they should not have started a war with the US.

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just the last two in a long list of hideous acts conducted in the new world order of total war, brought to you by your local Luftwaffe.

Instead of blaming the US for bombing the Japanese why dont you try blaming the Japanese Military for starting a war they had no hope of winning and then conducting acts of barbarism by executing POW's and civilians.

The fact that the little girl and thousands like her died is tragic. but no more so or less than all the millions like her killed in the war.

i dont blame anyone for the decision, both sides had their reasons

pointing fingers really have nothing for it

but i do look down on the US for using such a destructive weapon on one military target in an urban area

the japs could of beaten the americans until midway, there is turning points in war
