Re: 2 ideas Where in the F*** did you come up with 500,000 vaporized? The pre raid population was only 255,000! Try about 66,000 killed outright and 69,000 wounded at Hiroshima. This is immediately after the raid. Your statement specifically mentioned those vaporized in the attack. Even if you add in the 39,000 killed and 25,000 wounded from Nagasaki your still way short of 500,000 killed in teh initial attack. And Im sick and F***** tired of you bleeding heart liberals leaving out the facts. Please have the courtesy to research the ffacts before you post. Hiroshima held the headquarters for the Southern command that was organizing defences for the anticipated imminent invasion of Japan. Hiroshima was also the communications nexus of the entire southern part of Japan. The numbers that have died since the bombings that are suspected but cannot all be proven to have been caused by radiation poisoning and complications is not yet 500,000 By the next time this subject comes up Im sure the number will be 1 million. |

Explain your concept of right anmd wrong to the thousands who died in Rotterdam, London, Coventry, Plymouth, Stalingrad, Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev, Smolensk, and Warsaw. Also it should be pointed out that not as many people died at Nagasaki as died in Tokyo during the fire bombing raid. |
