Bunny Hoppers do really annoy me, I left BF1942 so I could play some non-stupid, realistic, team working WW2 battles, and it is dissapointing to see some one bunny-hopping towards you with a BAR or MG34 killing you, when you have only a rifle and then it is hard to take them down.

Sure they could. But try this at home. First, pretend you have a rifle, then kneel at your kitchen counter. You should just be able to shoot over the counter. Now you can't usually kneel and shoot over sandbags, so you can assume they are higher than your kitchen counter.
Now without using your hands, jump up on the counter. Now do it again, three times in rapid succession. Now do it sideways. Good Luck
Bunnyhopping is annoying, not because it makes them hard to hit (actually, somebody zig-zagging is harder to hit, because they can change direction at any time, unlike bunnyhoppers, who follow a fixed arc everytime they leave the ground)
It's annoying for the same reason as jumping tank corpses, out-of-place static buildings, and back-flag jeep capping. It looks out of place and immersion suffers for it.
My only experience with WW2 is the movies. I don't expect FH to be 100% realistic, (I wouldn't know if it was or not, I wasn't there) but Hollywood realistic is just fine with me. Bunnyhopping does not feature in any WW2 movie I've ever seen.

well, i'm sorry to see this posting has degenerated into a spite fest., that wasn't my intention-i simply wanted to know if there were any plans to change this behaviour.
Coming from old school FPS games i admit to having the jump-button twitch, but i stop from doing it because i want a better, different atmosphere in this game. I got enough bunny hopping to last a life time playing CS/Quake/Unreal elite force etc... I feel the BF1942 should be treated differently.
The really sad part about this was that the guys own teammates were asking him to stop as he looked ridiculus, and as i recall he had the 2nd or 3rd lowest score out of 26 players.
Now having done my time as a grunt, i can guaruntee you the last thing you want to do is jump around and call attention to yourself on a battelfield -and jumping around aint gonna do sh*t against a modern MG-and i seriously doubt it would have been very effective in WW2.
I don't have any problem killing these guys, actually i usually ignore them after tossing a nade and killing them ( of course thenm i'm told i'm hacking) but you got to admit it looks plain stupid to see someone jumping about willy-nilly when you bearing down on them with a tank.
Fortunately most of the hoppers eem to be vanilla medpack whores and stay away from FH & XXWW2 mods, so i'm hoping that eventually after some newer FPS games come out they will migrate out totally and just leave the serious gamers in peace.
Otherwise i'll just keep (hacking) nading the little bastards and get accused of cheating

**** morons cant you see that Bunny Hopping is no problem! You're likely to kill em like stealing candy from a kid... If you cant hit a bunny hopper at close range with a rifle then go ******* practice im getting sick of all theese complainments and whines! I mean I use bunny hop myself when reloading in close combat and Im like wow why did I do that really... I got owned anyway... Serious stop complaining about such a small thing... Go complain about ur pocket money instead!

yeah, who in their right mind actually dares complain in a forum..? tsk tsk tsk.
Why don't we just shut down the whole forum AND mod since it just might be that someone will complain and we don't want our 1337-kids to get upset.
I was about to complain over a bug I found but now will just keep quiet...
I think that the Bar 1918 should take longer to be accurate when you hit the dirt - but that's about it.
To the person who talked about their kitchen counter - although people still jump high in BF, remember that the view point is weirded-out, so it's not as high as you're describing it as.
If you want to be immersed so much, join a clan or whatnot - no game will be perfect on a public server - unless that public server is filled with aliens. (Daily Victim, anyone?)
