I think this isnt a issue at all. In real life a tank crew works together as if they are one. Ingame people dont.. So its seems good to me that 1 person (who is ingame the complete crew) controls the vehicle.

IMO it works well enough in SH and FW, but you are of course right that the communication problems makes it much harder. The devs have also already decided against this (I'll assume they tested it) so tanks aren't the issue. But is there really any difference between someone else than the driver of an apc manning the mg and an armored car? The gunner chooses his targets like in the apc. And like the Panzer 35, I & II the Sdkfz 222 and armored cars role is not to be frontline attack vehicles but reconnasaince(sp), scouting and such. And other vehicles are already separated, the polish wz 34 car, the russian Ba64 (atleast it was) or even the NKL26 Snow sled. Why must these be separated and not the sdkfz222? Seems more like bias to make it a better vehicle or some sort of early anti air vehicle wich it wasn't.

I don't understand why the Wz34 has two spots, but everything else with separate driver/gunner can carry out it's primary function without being able to shoot anything. The gunner in these vehicles is just icing on the cake.
