Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Well...here is the question: What weapon has the most powerful single shot (like in how much damage one shot does)? Personally I think the Zooka and Schreck is the best weapons. Can anyone confirm or decline this oppinion? :) |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Isnt it the faust??? |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat I dunno...the sniper piat is so accurate, you could hit a chicken 500 yards away...i vote for piat |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat But it doesn't do a whole lot of damage. My vote goes to the fausty because you can take out almost any tank with one hit (which sucks). |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat I like the zooka's (shreck is about the same), multiple shots. I cant count the number of times i have missed tanks with the faust by just one inch.. as its one shot.. Then you are screwed. |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Faust all the way. I can rack up kills with it so fast... |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Mmm faust... haven't used one yet in 0.65 so dunno if it has changed, but was fun in 0.61. Actually, haven't used ANY AT weapon in 0.65  |

Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Best AT weapon is Panzershreck as it has 4 shots combined with almost best damage and quite long range. Panzerfaust 100 does the most damage. If used correctly it can take any tank out with one shot. PIAT flies like a drunken bee but after you learn how to use it you can drop tanks with ease. Bazookas do good damage if you know where to hit with them. If I would have to choose one AT weapon for every future FH game I play I would go for Panzershreck (obviously). |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Damage wise the 3 tube rockets follow this order: 1. Panzerschreck way in front 2. Bazooka 3. PIAT slightly behind the zooka Range speaks for the Schreck, too, but only a little bit in front of Bazooka and Piat. Ammo is the same for all, doesn't matter. Stealthiness speaks for Piat, it is very hard to see the shooter in certain enviroments. Aiming of Bazooka and Panzerschreck is the same, clear disadvantage for the Piat during crouching and standing, but very good while lying. My personal favourite is the PIAT, but maybe that's because I love Arnheim as a british. |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat please put a blast-shild on the panzerschreck... or would it be easy'r to make a whole new model...? |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Oh, thx Major Hartmann. That cleared things up. Does the Faust 30, 60 (havent seen it in 0.65 so far) and 100 does the same damage? :) |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Even though the faust seems to lead in power, it seems to have a problem flying through a target which I havent experienced with any of the tube launchers. Id take whatever I can hit with regardless of power. |

Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat The AT weapons feel really great in 65. Not a n00b cannon and not a incontrollable weapon! |

Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Hmm yes it sometimes seems the 30 doesn't do as much damage, and that's silly, it should. |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Most AT weapons are brilliant, expect for the Japanese Anti Tank Grenades. |

I would definatly take the Panzerfaust over any other other ones. I find that most tankers kick it into high gear once the first Zooka/Shrek/Piat hits, usually resulting in him being out of range by the time you're ready to fire again. If you do things right with the Faust, you don't have to worry about a 2nd shot. Just remember to hit the tracks or the rear on earlier tanks, and the engine deck on later heavy tanks. |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat And only shoot tracks if you are shooting sherman... For some reason fausts don't always do almost any damage at all when shooting the rear of sherman... |

Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat I always go for the side, the rear often bugs. The front sometimes survives the hit. But the side, it's a much bigger target, you won't risk getting caught, and it always penetrates. Tricky part is, you need to aim well to hit the target when moving. 75% of the people don't know how to hit moving targets.. I can simply not believe that! |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Well, in real life, the Scherk was the deadlist, followed by Faust, tehn Bazooka, and the Pait was crap. One story form Arnhem say a Piat gunner on top of a roof fired 7 shots on varying pionts of a tiger, and then the Tiger turned its turret around, and blew him about 40 feet of the roof and onto anther roof, severly wounding the guy, but not killing him. It is true, look it up, it was seen by John Howard, the leader of the assualt on Pegusus Bridge, and is in the book Pegusus Bridge by Stephen Ambrose. But, yeah, Scherk was the best in real life, over 200 mm of armor, then Fuast with 180mm, then bassoka with 100mm, then Pait with like 40-50mm, I think.... |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat actually the panzerfaust 150 and panzerfaust 100 pentrated more armor then the panzershreck there were also two types of panzershrecks 54 and 43 and fh has panzerfaust placement all wrong in its maps |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Well, faust 150 isn't even in game, and 100 I am pretty sure was 180mm, though I could be wrong.... Still, schreck was better as you can reload, and not hunt around for an ammo box if you miss. They should have about the same damage anyways, as both could take out any allies tank in side or rear armor in one shot, and one shot on most frontal armor. |
Re: Faust, Zooka, Schreck and Piat Yeah well, the 'schreck really should be powered up, I mean, it's not on many maps anyway, so it wouldn't unbalance the game, now would it? |
