EST size = 1.6 gb

300 k = +/- 30 kb/s ------------> 14 hours
750 k = +/- 80 kb/s------------> 6 hours
1.5 mb = +/- 160 kb/s---------> 3 hours

Thats a Guess I don't know anyone whos on 1.5 mb as its bloodly expensive. I have 750 k upgraded from 600k and I get a DL speed of about 70 - 85 kb/s which means I'll start it before I go to work.

BTW, you can check when your speed is due to be upgraded here:

Stupid SBC still needs to optimize my DSL, its only like 160k which only gives me like 19k downloads.

5h1t! 14 Hours :(? I'll have to send the wife away for a while as she has a habit of turning the PC off when no-one's sat at it... then she complains when I use it for hours... women eh? Twisted logic I think :) But of course my daughter can use MSN for days and that's okay!

Dunno how she turns the PC off anyway, must pull the plug out of the wall as I've never found / looked for an off switch. :(

Tried running Azureus but it comes out with NAT error when I test it - I've forwarded the reqd port in the router - will have to investigate urgently now.

BTW a better surefire test if on NTLWorld:

Only works once as it get cached after.
