Add-ons

I remember hearing, seeing, smelling somewhere about where to get the fh addons. i was wondering if there is a place that i can get ramelle/neuville and charlie sector, and not at fileplanet, i find them morally abusive. also, there was some sort of sound addons i heard about, putting in better sound for tanks and 50 cals, and stuff like that. anyone know where i can get those downloads.

Slow downloads? I get the fastest download speeds I can find of fileplanet. I get like 500 kb/s.

King Rudolf made a very nice sound addon and he used to have links to it in his signature, but they seem to have gone. However, you can allways get if from fileplanet. :D

Slow? I D/L'ed Galactic Conquest (450 mb or so) in 20 min at 3.3 Mbps (although I had to wait 6 min to start :D)

jebas, i would sometimes get 100kbs, when on filefront id get around 500. so, no, long live filefront, and their no wait distros!

100Kbps there?! I always get 50 if I am lucky and I have a 10Mbps connection! Lucky bas... ! Anyway, I use GameSpot, it gets things later but I get something like 2 Mbps a download...

rammelle/neuville works, but charlie sector came as a .rar file. anyone know how to convert this to the .rfa that bf42 uses?

um, how? just delete the ".rar" at the end of the filename and type ".rfa"? sounds too ez, but that is how i ususally get shit like that to work.

You have to get winrar, it's an (un)-compressing program like winzip.
