Ähum.... is just having one question, is this a mod for BUNNYHOPPERS and STRAFERS, you know.... a mod environment they will enjoy playing?

bunnyhoppers wont find themsselves at home, despite teh fact they still do it, they just cant shoot back, as for straffers, thats a legit thing to do and was done quite frequently for cover

With strafers i mean sidesteping side to side real quick like and still be able to hit a person at 10 - 15 m range, what you say?

Mgs kill all types of mobile infantry no matter what they are doing. Rifle Grenades as well. Strafe, jump, duck, spin, it dosen't matter when you have 1200 RPM of 7.92mm raining down on you. You will die and look stupid as well.

It's only curiosity, but...

are you looking for a NON-Bunnyhoppers mod or you want a Bunnyhoper's paradise mod?

May be I'm doing a mistake, but looking your age you seem like looking for a realistic WWII mod. If it's your case, welcome to Forgotten Hope community!!!

If you're looking for a Boing-boing-O-MATIC mod, may be CS will be better for you :nodding:

FH is perfect if you want "use common sense" gameplay.

Your joking right? You try jumping and hitting anything in CS and don't forget there is a little thing in CS called stamina. It doesn't have a bar for it but you cannot jump more than a few times before you slow down considerably.


FH can a lot of times be bunnyhopper friendly but strafing isn't very effective(unless extreme CQC).

So, Forgotten Hope is the perfect choose!!

As Kämpfer wrote, in FH you can jump & jump like a bunny if you want, but I think is not usual, it's only used by some n00bs. And if there's a MG firing at you forget to avoid the bullets only using the space bar :nodding:

When you try FH you'll realize that is a realism mod:

• if you are not a pilot class or have a pilot kit you will not have a parachute
• one shot with a rifle means you've been killed
• granades don't destroy tanks
• tanks have usually realistic hull damages
• corrected physics for bazookas
• and hundred of other features (read other threads about it or the FH manual)

But that realism don't means forgotten hope is unplayable. Day after day FH community grow up. There're a lot of servers available (some with 64 players), and Battle for europe tournament has choose FH mod as a requirement to play (if you're looking for realims & and real teamplay you MUST sign up in WaW Battle for europe tournament!!!)

Well, as a spanish commercial spot said: "search it, try it, and if you find something better buy(play) it". I'm sure you'll love FH

ps: Kämpfer, I don't play Counter Strike since v1.5. 'cause I don't love Steam a lot... DoD always has the stamina feature (and I love it), but I remember my "CS age" and I only remember bunnyhoppers & campers, ouch!! :lol:
