Speaking of scoped automatic weapons, I never found the scoped STG44. Where the hell is it?
I wasted 1 hour of my life just by playing "Where's the scoped STG?"
Speaking of scoped automatic weapons, why the heck there even IS a scoped StG44, since apparently there were no such scoped StG44s, because it didn't even have a scope mount? Only MKb42 and the rare MP43/1, slightly different from StG44 aka MP44, had the scope mount.
One time on crete (i was german) i had the matilda, and i was sitting at a flag and out of ammo. So here comes the transport plane and to my suprise actually dropes ammo near me! The only problem was it literally didnt stop slidding across the ground. It slid a few hundred feet, and then flew of the top of a mountian .
Transports drop the only sniper kit in the map on that side.......imagine the players wanting that kit go beserk if a nOOb pilots the transporter.......
No, serious, i think that it should drop infantry equipment too, but stuff that isn't available in the menu, and is usefull to the players in the field. That means heavier or less available weapons like panzerschreck heavy AT kit, expack demolition kit, heavy tripod mg kit and rare scoped (semi) automatic weapons.
In large deserts dropping ammo crates can be invaluable, but in current FH there are no mapswith transpoter aircraft that have ammo crates far enough apart for that function to be any usefull.
I wasn't talking about rifles and stuff, but like these
They could even drop mortars if they werent so worthless

I see no use for the current static mortars. Like in Gold Beach no one ever uses them. Can't do any sort of indirect fire, or even estimate where the shell goes. Haven't ever tried with someone spotting, but they do seem kinda futile in general. I've even heard that people in the real world sometimes in desperate situations used mortars as direct-firing AT&infantry guns, with guesstimated aim, placing the tube rear against something vertical. I have an impression it was Finns who I read did that, but it could be some other country, or even many countries.
But then again, mortars in 0.62 could be changed..?
