Noob having fun!
 

Just got around to downloading and installing FH last night and logged into my first server shortly thereafter. I was impressed with the amount of teamwork I saw during the game. When you needed help, it was there...I need artillery! It was there. I need anti-tank support! It was there!
I'm not sure if it was just coincidence or if this is typical for FH servers. I'm hoping for the latter, as I was having a ball! ( I can't tell you what server it was as I'm at work)

I must say, with the few maps that I played on last night, I was impressed. I look forward to more updates from the FH team.

Probably just coincidence sadly enough, BUT, and this is rare, there sometimes actually is something which can be described as teamwork on public FH-servers, most notably on WOLF.

WOLF is great. Except I think I'm banned for shooting down a plane full of German paratroops when we had 2 tickets left. :p

I don't know, I think FH has spoiled us. I've not played Vanilla for months, but I'm pretty sure that teamwork was limited to two or three people, at best. Now we complain that teamwork isn't all that it should be, but I reckon it's still a lot more impressive than what we were used to.

Maybe we should all go join one of the 64-player EA servers, just to make everyone appreciate what we have now. ;)

hmmm... what server? I wish I saw that kind of team play. or maybe you're just use to Vanilla, which is probably still worse than FH at this point for teamwork...

I tried playing FH somewhere other than WOLF the other day and was sadly disappointed with the number of players running around doing little that had to do with winning the match. Reminded me of BF:V. Can't quite remember the name of the server. Might have been 9th Inf.

Serves you right. I just had two rotten rounds of Crete where noobs would either shoot the plane or crash it in the water.

At least there is more teamwork then in the regular BF... I played FH for a few weeks once, and then switched back to BF regular for a while. No teamwork at all. The medics wont even heal you. >_>

I wish there would be a "signal" in the map when someone call for anti-tank or something. It's really annoying to see where B2 or H5 is...

I've noticed that the increased vulnerability of infantry compared to BF1942 tends to cause people to stick together. When in vanilla Battlefield you'd see everyone running around doing their own little thing, alot of the time in FH you'll see three or more soldiers sticking together. It's not a whole lot of teamwork but it's still loads better than vanilla Battlefield.

What there should be is a flashing dot where i point and click my binoculars. That would be great for those who fly CAS.

Be careful about generalizations, you might miss out on something. Last night we had a great Kharkhov winter match on the 9th's server, come from behind win for Axis by 8 points. Good teamplay repeatedly.

Afew days ago some 9th inf came on the wolf server and got kicked for swearing at the admins for not doin there job, when one got kicked his teammate past a rather immature comment along the lines of "f**k wolf server" so it wouldnt surpirse me if it was the 9th inf server you had a bad experience on.

well as you all know i cant join servers with more than 14 people due to my bad computer, i never get a chance to join "Teamwork" servers. :(

Hmm, I know a 9th Inf guy from WaW, hes a good guy, and an amazing tanker..


I guess some people are more mature than others...

But...It's my duty to inform you of the BEST place to play FH...World at War.

3000 registered users and counting, we are by far the biggest and BEST forgotten hope tournament. More organization than you can even imagine.

Come to the WaW Public server and play with some of the WaW guys..you'll see.

Our server is also the most smacktard free, without banning people for st00pid reasons.

I agree and disagree.

WaW is very cool, but i dont believe its the "BEST" place to play FH (notice how 'best' is in all capitals, which is Cyan's attempt to make it look 'ExTrEmE'). I believe the "BEST" place to play FH would be in heaven (or in Hell..whatever floats your boat...loser)
