Anyone whos ever played a Mod, knows that you don´t always get updates in 0.1 steps. Instead, the updates generaly are representative for the amount of content added. An 0.01 update is regarded by most players as pure bug-fixing and balance tweaks, while an 0.05 update is regarded as a fair size content update. An 0.1 Update then could be a major content and feature upgrade or even a complete recode (as in FH 0.6). This is the general perseption of the majority of Mod-Players, may it be HL-Mods, BF-Mods or Mods for any other kind of game out there. |

Re: Fh 0.62? Which is the rule of thumb for these guys. I don't care how long it takes, and SilentKiller's got a bad attitude anyway, so forget him. And they can call it whatever they want, because it's still gonna be here eventually, and when it is, I'm sure most of the guys here won't care what they call it either. |
Re: Fh 0.62? The FH mod for Battlefield 1942 is awesome -really great work however: I hope a few adjustments can be made to make the next patch a little more realistic. First The Russian PPSH is way over powered and over-ranged and is far too dominating. It is easy to get "cheap" kills using the ppsh. I hope that the next patch can correct that weapon Second -the Allied solider using a Garand has the accuracy of a sniper 's weapon -its too great-When you are using a sniper G43 and can barley see the pixel head of the Allied soldier through the scope only to get shot by that individual without a scope that is ridiculous. It would help to improve the game if the Garand's accuracy at range was scaled back so it can not have the accuracy as one using the sniper's scope. Third- get a little more range to the panzerfaust like it was in patch .50 As it stands now that weapon has the range of a spitwad. Four- The Bf 109 E is the standard plane for German Fighters in FH mod and reqular Bf 1942 but actually the BF 109 G series, without the rear tail stabilizers and with rounded wing tips and large spinner was the most produced German fighter. The 109 E series was the Battle of Britain participant with small spinner and squared tipped wings, but in most of the maps used in BF 1942 and the FH mod should have the 109 G series as flow by the numerous German super aces like Hartmann, Galland and Molders. It would be great to see the 109 G series replaced the 109 E series in the next FH patch |
