I always thought there was some logic behind version numbers. Is there no logic or do the FH devs just dont care? (I know they got better things to do then worry about numbers)
However, to get new players and to get old players to return, I think its good PR to have as big version numbers as possible.
0.61->0.62 People:"Ah that seems to be a small update, Ill just ignore it..."
0.61->0.99 People:"HOLY COW! Im going to download this baby! It's got to be an enterily new game!"
(People in this case being the lazy ones who just dont have the strength to read sentences as long as 5 words as in "What's new in this version")
If I see a Mod I“m only half interested in releasing a 0.1 update I won“t bother downloading it. But if its a 0.5 or 1.0 update I“ll actually go check out what the fuss is all about.
I know this is superficial, but the majority of people are superficial...
Although you guys do have points in that people go for the "bigger numbers", it's only common sense to know that everyone knows about FH's progress, development goals, and how good of a community we are! *end perfect world*
But seriously, just for the sake of getting people's atention, let's call it .65, what with all the new stuff being added!
On another note, if this gigantic update increases simply by .01 then imagine what 0.62 -> 0.7 would be. I mean, the 0.6 update was huge.
Even if there's a .01 increment I DL the file because most mods I DL, I play, on the web. If only once the FH team was done they could go help the GC team, that would be sweet.

Very bizarre - I had typed NO URLs whatsoever.
Anyway, what I was trying to say was that whoever was upset about the team "taking too long," remember, this mod is free of charge. The team spends a good deal of their free time to bring you a kickass mod, for zero dollars. And you're complaining to them? Ha! I'd sympathize with you if the mod cost $50/month for subscription or something and I wasn't getting my money's worth...such is not the case...

Hah you think .62 is a long wait thats nothing to what Iv waited for. A HL mod me and my friend followed for a year straight to come out. That was a wait a very long one but was well worth it.
