Re: 0.63 testing ?? Kursk Day 1. Don't you guys pay attention to the updates? *edit* The new maps are Supercharge, Desert Rose, Blue Moon, Sector 318, and Kursk Day 1. |
Re: 0.63 testing ?? Yeah well, it's already known that there will be a few new Kursk maps (whahay to that!). Can't wait (but I guess I'll have to)! |
Re: 0.63 testing ?? There's going to be multiple Kursk Day # maps in .62? There's already a couple of Kursk maps in FH already, though. I just can't spell them without looking into my maps folder. |
Re: 0.63 testing ?? several things while i read here, this is how program versions usualy work: there are several stages of releaseness (my own word) alpha release: Some basic features haven't been implemented yet and there are quite a few bugs. More for in-house testing. beta release: all features more or less work but will have a few bugs. Outside advanced users can use it. pre-release: generically refers to any non-final release, either alpha, beta, or whatever. final release: an "official" release. usualy alpha versions have numbers below .1 like .01 .02 ect. showing that it just started when you get into betas it moves up to .1 or .4 or in this case .6 now if a beta test has a small upgrade where a few things are changed it will go up a little like an alpha (ex. .6 to .62) but if it has a large upgrade where most of the things in it have changed it goes up in the beta number (ex. .6 to .7) once a final release is done (kinda like the game you buy at the store) the very first of it is version 1.00 and as patches come out this number rises like the previous numbers second thing i wanted to talk about, they decided .62 was to much of a hassle so they are going to dump .62 and go straight to .63 so we have to wait for them to finish it first (lol j/k) also, WOOT i see the BFE-WaW server!!! wootzors |
