Close the best players thread...
 

If you ask me the best player thread is just a summeration of players that know eachother(and don't get me wrong I'm guilty of that fact myself as well), and therefor "nominate" them with those "oscars for best gamer".

In my point of view it is not fair to those that deserve the actual attention, the players that play on a way that make the FH mod interesting.
It is those players that in my point of view deserve to be mentioned, and not those with high scores.

I do not post this because of jealousy or something or because my qualities as a player are not even worth mentioning, but because of the simple fact that what you see in that thread is somesort of "boyfriend" politics.

Bottom line is, try making a thread for players that are "cool" to play with, players that add an extra dimension instead of the George Bush-Tony Blair like posts where people just come up for their "friends"...

Pointless thread admittedly - but then if they all want to massage each other's egos, let them.. :)

Well there is no need to make another thread about it. You could have just posted this in the other thread. Otherwise, I don't think anyone should be bothered about this. Like D day Dawson said, if they want to, let them.

I wanted to close this, but instead, post in this thread who you enjoy playing with. They don't nessicarily have to be good players, but you have to have fun when playing with them.

Personally I only play with my clan, and we use teamspeak all the time. But I usually try to follow people around I recognise from the forums, they're usually fun to play with.

I like to play with people from the forums too, esp BAM him on the ground calling out Russian tanks and me in the Stuka on Prokovovka spells death to all Russian Tankers ;)

True - I aim to join servers with Forum members on where possible - unless I find servers where everyone has the same "[Clan]" in front of their names - then I avoid the server as I know it will be a unfair advantage to that team (due to private voice-comms).

I try to play as a good team member (I think) - I am in no way one of the better players, but I try to support my team-mates as much as possible - I'm not in it for personal gratification (as I know my limits:)) - Therefore I use the in-built chat as much as possible.

Guess I'll play along with this thread...

I always have a blast playin with Otto Skorzeny (Ninja) and SilenT AssassiN. We've had some pretty good times. Had fun playin with Capone and Bong, James Bong a few times too.

Whoa there partner.

Firstly there's no awards, it's just a thread. Secondly, how the heck are you supposed to nominate someone you don't know? Of bloody course they are nominating people they've played with before, because that's how they know that they are good. Read through the post and you'll see a lot of folks don't like the people they nominated at all, for one reason or another. The "unsung heros" you are wishing to be recognized would be even more a culprit of the "clique theory" you have now.
