So let me get this straight exp packs are gone in 0.62!!!!! then how the hell are we gonna blow the bunker doors on omaha??? with a bazooka you say? you want to be the idiot who runs up those stairs with apistol while everyone else has rifles and smg's! i thought they were being replaced by satchel charges which you put down and they explode themesleves after like 10 seconds...... I like the engineer class but if you take away his wrench it will simply become another assault class only nerfed with the medium range m1 carbine for America and standard rifles for other countries! May i suggest then giving the us Engineer the greasegun on some maps? And the brits one a sten mk2 when moddeled.Hell why not give the engineers an smg on late war maps and a rifle on early ones I dont see where the m1 carbine will fit in though.Could a dev calm me down plz

Satchel charges are more realistic. I dubt there were many radio controled expolsive devices available on all sides. Simply put... they had more C4. Satchells are perfect.

SMG for the ENG? How about we make it standart issue for him to recive a truck too? Or hey, how about a tank? Than we can equip every pilot class with a plane! We will be all happy than, wont we? SMG's were close combat assault weapons. Kinda like pistols but faster. Engineers never played assault (desperate measures aside). If you want something else for the engineer, give him a flamethrower aside from a standart rifle, thats usually what they got. But yeah, no flamethrower since it will look like crap. Maybe when we move to BF2, maybe...

Now, the M1 Carbine... Standart engineer weapon since its development, or for anyone else who has a job more important that the weight of a real rifle is unbearable (hah). Great gun with lots of conrol and a pistol round too it. Only thing that sucks about it is that on FH, its semi auto system, isnt so semi auto. You should be able to sqeeze a clip of in a couple of seconds, but in this game, it takes a minute. I just dont know...

Other than that...

1. Omaha doesnt have bazookas. It will have satchel charges.
2. You clearly only want expacs so you can throw them on a tank and blow them fast, you feel that with a satchel charge, in those 10 seconds the driver will jump out and kill you, dont you?
3. Satchels will be on a Spec-Ops class. Relax, the engie is almost dead. Dead by 0.7 I say. That wrench will dissapear, soon I hope too so we can all forget about it.
4. Hopefully the FH mods will make a Granadier class.

Yep. Sucks. In XWWII you can empty the Carbine clip in just two seconds or so.. or how fast your mousefinger is.

only few things from me that i think need to be changed:
1) why do all tanks jump when they are destroyed? If u could change it so that when a tank is knocked out, it will just sit there with a nice explosion erupting from the body, i tihnk it would add more tank combat realism to the game. Also on tank deaths: i dont think the tank corpse model needs to be black. I know some models arent black, but i think some are and its unrealistic IMO if they are. If possible, i would like to see a decal, at the place the tank was hit, with a nice hole whith charred armor surrounding the hole. General: no tanks in the air and no black corpses.
2) Planes: I never liked them in the first place and have always wondered what BF would be like without them. First off, there isnt really much room (not to mention altitude) for realistic dogfights and carpetbombing where u see the many white condensation trails made from the hot engines of the bombers. Im not saying dont tak planes out because a lot of time has gone into them already, but I am just giving people thoughts.
3)kit system: i dont really like this right now. Stalingrad, why not make all kits from menu have nothing, and then spawn some rifle kits and SMG kits around the main base to simulate the actual Stalingrad battle, which was limited ammo/rifles and Kommisars with SMGs shooting down any "traitors". Or for the more organized maps, why not give make all kits riflemen and have spawnable officer (or SMG) kits. this would greatly reduce mass amounts of people being MG42s on Foy, and keep rifle-smg ratio to a realistic number. IE:Bocage: Allied kit menu: all garands and M1 carbines kits, and then put some bazooka/SMG/HMG/sniper kits lying around. this would force a lot of people to be riflemen and make things more realistic. I dont think this will apply for every map though, but most

Actually, Stalingrad was nothign like CoD, or that Vassili movie about it and the Nazi sniper school colonel. There was none of that 5 bullets for you, rifle for you bullshit. They were desperate, not that desperate. Most if it was devastating house to house warfare. As for the Russian Kommisars, they killed more of their own than the Germans.

Well, there was punishment battallions (both russian and german) who was forced to enter the battlefield unarmed to retrieve wounded soldiers etc but ok, not like that enemy at gates movie, i laughed when i saw it And yes the russian kommisars shot many of their own but so did the german counterparts too. (i think the australians and finnish was the only ones who didnt routinously shot their own for cowardice etc?)

The SS started executing everyone in late 44 to 45 for shit called "treason". Before that, punishment battalion and a ticket to the east. Shootings before that were rare. But when the case comes to the Russians, those ************s shot anyone. One guy wrote a book on tank tactics (similar to the structure the Krouts were using), because it dissagreed with what they did, he "dissapeard". Dont remember his name though...

Russian Kommisars did not kill nearly as many of their own as the Germans did at Stalingrad. There were "only" 13,500 executions at Stalingrad. This of course is executing and does not include friendly fire and many unrecorded cases of killings not included obviously.
